Currently, there exist various power supply voltages around the world.The semiconductor devices varying in withstand voltage to each power supply voltage are utilized for design and production.For the power factor correction circuit (PFC) that suppresses the input higher harmonic wave during AC/DC conversion, we have adopted a new method to realize the circuit that allows the 600V withstand-voltage semiconductor device to be ready for AC200V to AC400V inputs.Using this in application, we have developed the three-phase AC/DC power supply for the worldwide-capable information and communications equipment.
